Part of an on-going investment and expansion plan, the independent and privately-owned North East-based motor dealer group and member of the Retail Automotive Alliance (RAA), has said the move is seeing the company diversify to offer customers the iconic two-wheel mode of transport, as well as cars and commercial vehicles.

Now trading under Jennings Harley-Davidson® the branch, based on Wellington Road Industrial Estate, employs a total of 12 staff and is one of 30 Harley-Davidson sites nationwide.

The dealership offers new and quality used versions of the iconic motorcycle, in addition to offering a range of after sales facilities, including servicing, parts, accessories and genuine Harley-Davidson® clothing and merchandise.

Nas Khan, managing director of Jennings Motor Group, said;

“We are absolutely delighted to announce the takeover of the Leeds Harley-Davidson® dealership, which is now operating as part of the Jennings Motor Group. We are embarking on a completely new and exciting business venture and we are looking forward to further developing the highly prestigious brand on both a local and national level, in addition to increasing business across new and used sales, service, parts, accessories and merchandise.”

Jennings Motor Group has been in business in the North East for more than a century.  In 1917, it was one of the first dealers in the UK appointed by Ford Motor Company to sell its cars. Over the years, continuous expansion and investment, including the introduction of new marques including Kia, Mazda, SEAT and Mitsubishi, has resulted in the company becoming a multi-franchise group.

As well as new and used retail, fleet, commercial and Motability sales, the group also operates service, MOT, accident repair centres and parts departments across its North East territory.

Nas added;

“Harley-Davidson® is one of the world’s most recognised brands and has also been voted in the top ten of global brands, in addition to being voted one of the 20 brands in the world that evoke passion, style, quality and confidence.”
