The Retail Automotive Alliance is delighted to announce that Peter Vosper has recently been appointed to the role of Chairman.

Peter succeeds outgoing Chair, David Bussey, MD of Busseys who held the role for the past two years. Announcing the appointment, David said:

“It has been my great privilege to serve as Chairman of the RAA over the past two years and I thank all the RAA shareholders for their support during my term. The RAA continues to deliver exceptional benefits to its shareholder members and has demonstrated its great strength and resilience during a challenging period for the retail automotive sector. I am delighted to welcome Peter Vosper to the role and wish him every success in steering the Alliance on its progressive journey.”

With 45 years in the motor trade, Peter brings to the role unrivalled experience and insight. He is Chairman of the independently owned, family-run dealer group Vospers and commenting on his appointment said,

“I am thankful to David and the other members of the RAA Board for their confidence in my appointment. The hard work and commitment demonstrated by the past Chairmen, Philip Maskell, Marc Matthew and David Bussey, has got the RAA off to a marvellous start and has built a solid foundation for the Alliance. However, it is clear the motor industry is going through a period of significant change and we need to be looking at new opportunities to support and add value for our members. The appointment of Oliver Greening as Director of Business Development reinforces our commitment to this, and I look forward to working with him in these exciting times.”
