The RAA has appointed Autorola as online remarketing partner following a six-month pilot scheme which saw more than £5 million of used cars sold.
The RAA will use Autorola’s online sales platform with its 2,000 active buyers to sell unwanted and over age used stock.
Commenting on the move, Oliver Greening, RAA’s business development director, said:
“Our six-month pilot with Autorola was very successful and our members immediately embraced online remarketing with more than 600 used cars sold worth more than £5 million. RAA member Essex Auto Group which is a multi-franchise dealer group with five sites was an early adopter to using Autorola and is now selling around 500 cars annually online at an average price of between £8,500-9,000.”
Autorola’s national business development manager, Simon Wells, added:
“The success of the pilot shows the foresight of dealers to make online remarketing work for them. The average used price of £8,000 shows the quality of stock being sold online and our national buyer base has welcomed the opportunity to buy direct from high profile dealer groups.”
